14.5-45mm T2.0 Premier

Fujinon’s Premier 14.5-45mm covers unlimited focal lengths in a range where primes previously were the rule. This lens works like a high-end Prime when dealing with distortion, chromatic aberration, and all the tough challenges of wide angle lens design. MTF and resolution is stellar from the center to the corners, without shading or fall-off. This is the most expensive, yet most compact of the four Premiers. It is not a lightweight lens – it is a seamless match to the other three 4K+ Premiers in color matching, performance, and speed. The 14.5-45 mm is designed for wide angle 4K+ landscapes, beauty shots, distortion-free Green screen, motion control, and for beautiful Plates. Images that previously were usually trusted only to a prime. Using a zoom in these situations requires fewer lens changes and saves production time, without compromise to quality and matching. The Fujinon Premier 4K+ 14.5-45mm has a maximum aperture of T2.0. Shooting at T2.0 requires half as much light as T2.6, which could translate into the difference between using 5Ks instead of 10Ks. Focus, Iris, and Zoom barrels on all Premier 4K+ zoom lenses are in the same relative position, saving valuable time when changing lenses: lens motors, follow focus, and accessories do not have to be repositioned. All four Fujinon Premier PL 4K+ zooms have 136 mm front diameters. Focus barrel rotation is a uniform 280 degrees on all four lenses.
